Echinacea‘Matthew Saul’ PPAF - (Harvest Moon™) Coneflower
 

The Saul Brothers have done it again! This new Coneflower has blooms that are 4 inches across and are a rich bright yellow color with a central brown cone. With superior garden performance, the flowers won’t fade or wilt, even in the worst summer heat, and if you cut them for the vase, they’ll go strong for 2 weeks or so! The plant itself is quite compact - just about 2’ high and wide and very well branched. It blooms in July and reblooms later in the season when deadheaded.

Helenium‘Chelsey’ - Helen’s Flower
 

This stunning Helen’s Flower with its ever-changing, bi-colored flowers makes a lasting impression. The disc-shaped flowers have non-drooping, crimson petals marked with splashes of bright yellow highlights. Helenium‘Goldrausch’ - Helen’s Flower
 

The golden yellow, disc-shaped flowers of this Helen’s Flower bloom July-Aug. and are lightly speckled with orange or brown and have a green center. Unlike other Heleniums, it has a more formal shape and is very free flowering. It grows about 4’ tall, so it’s best in the back of the border where it combines well with ornamental grasses, Coneflowers and Daisies.

Hosta ‘Eskimo Pie’ is an amazing new sport of
the popular H. ‘Northern Exposure’. Each round, corrugated, blue-green leaf is highlighted by a large, creamy central pattern. As the season progresses, the central pattern lightens to near white. This has proven to be a very good grower, making a 3’ wide clump that is topped with near white flowers on 30” scapes in late spring.
