Heucherella ‘Stoplight’ PPAF - Foamy Bells
 

Heucherella ‘Stoplight’ is the result of further development with Heucherella ‘Sunspot’. It has large leaves, which are more intensely yellow witha darker, larger central splotch. White spike flowers appear from May-June. It grows 18” tall. Heucherellas are the interesting hybrids created by crossing Heuchera and Tiarella.

Leucanthemum superbum‘Sonnenschein’ - Shasta Daisy

Monarda‘Bradburiana’ - Beebalm Hybrids
 

A little known species native to the southeastern half of Missouri and mostly found in the Ozark mountain region. It is the earliest of Monardas to flower, blooming from May to June and it is also the smallest of the genus, growing just 18”tall. This is a very distinctive plant because of its big, lavender-pink flowers that somewhat resemble a punk rockstar’s hairdo. Monarda is very fragrant and a tea can be made from the leaves and flowers of the plant.

Rodgersia pinnata ‘Chocolate Wing’ PPAF - Rodger’s Flower
 

A remarkable new selection with bold, chocolate-colored compound foliage that emerges brown and undergoes color changes from green, to bronze and red, before returning to brown again in fall. Even the flowers go through a transition, opening pale pink in early summer and darkening to burgundy-red over time. It grows about 4’ tall.

Salvia Pratensis‘Eveline’ PP14905 - Sage

Sedum‘Postman’s Pride  PPAF - Stonecrop
 

Discovered by a Belgian Postman in his garden, ‘Postman’s Pride’ is a new selection with very deep purple foliage. The foliage color is more of a blue-purple, rather than a red-purple like Sedum ‘Purple Emperor’. It has a semi-upright habit to 20” tall. In late summer, deep purple buds open to pinkish flowers.
