From an island off the coast of Norway comes this new and unique, hardy geranium with purple-bronze foliage and bright pink flowers. It is incredibly long blooming, producing new flowers continuously from June to Sept. Growing 8-10” tall, it is best at the front of the border and combines well with Hellebores or Bergenia. Geranium ‘Pink Penny’ PPAF - Geranium

Geranium ‘Jolly Bee’ and ‘Rozanne’ now have good company as the longest blooming Geraniums we grow. Geranium ‘Pink Penny’ is very long blooming and similar to ‘Jolly Bee’ and ‘Rozanne’ in every way, except it has pink flowers! It tends to have a lax spreading habit, so give it some room to weave among other plants. Growing 12-15” tall, it's best in the middle of the border and combines well with pink blooming daylilies like Hemerocallis ‘Barbara Mitchell’. Propagation is prohibited.

Cold Hardiness: Zone 5-8

Hemerocallis ‘Going Bananas ’ PP17164 - Daylily

This new introduction is an improved 'Happy Returns' with larger flowers and more continuous bloom into fall. The 4", slightly fragrant, canary yellow blossoms have a green throat and are a bit lighter yellow in color than 'Happy Returns', with recurved, overlapping petals that have slightly ruffled margins. It displays excellent 3-way branching and produces 10-15 well-spaced flowers per scape. The flowers open symmetrically just above the foliage. It starts blooming 1-2 weeks later than 'Happy Returns' in early summer, blooming continuously into early fall with semi-evergreen foliage. A diploid introduced by Meyer/Walters Gardens, Inc. Propagation is prohibited.

Cold Hardiness: Zones 5-8

Heuchera villosa ‘Brownies’ - Hairy Alumroot

Heuchera 'Brownies' is another superb coral bell from French breeder Thierry Delabroye. Since it is a H. villosa cross, it is more heat tolerant than other Heucheras. It makes a vigorous clump more than 2' tall that is adorned with large, fuzzy, olive-brown leaves, topped with tall spikes of small, white flowers in summer. The new leaves have a deeper chocolate color and mature to olive green as they age. It contrasts well with the ornamental grass Hakonechloa macra ‘Aureola’.
