This bellflower has beautiful burgundy colored 3" tubular bells that are gracefully carried on 24" stems. It blooms from July to September. Each plant will bear a gay profusion of large, cloche-like bangles for weeks on end. Dynamic in a cluster of five or more!

A new hybrid developed by Terry Dowdeswell of New Zealand that is more heat tolerant, easier to grow and is longer lived than most delphiniums. It's flowering stems can reach 7-8' if only one stem per plant is allowed to bloom. Each floret on the spike is huge, over two inches in diameter. One, centerpiece focus plant will make a so-so garden sensational!

Developed by Terry Dowdeswell of New Zealand, this delphinium is more heat tolerant, easier to grow and longer lived than most delphiniums. The flower spike grows 6-7' if only one spike is allowed to bloom per season. Cut the others off. If well watered during the blooming period, these plants will provide a breath-taking display of 2" pastel pink florets on foot wide obelisks.
