June' is a striking sport of the much admired Hosta 'Halcyon' noted for its blue-gray toned, lance-shaped leaves. Hosta 'Reversed' has the "opposite" variegation of Hosta 'Frances Williams' but with none of the latter's faults (such as its tendency to leaf scorch in hot weather). 1996 American Hosta Growers Hosta of the Year! The glossy green and wavy leaves of this excellent Hosta have wide creamy edges that become pure white as they mature, producing a 14" mound of tidy foliage. The 25" stems bear 3" flowers of pure white which are very fragrant, (the scent resembling that of Gardenias,) blooming in August. Though perfectly happy in shade, this Hosta will survive and prosper in full sun given a modicum of water during periods of heat or drought.
